Benton County Has No 72-Hour Feed
The Benton County Sheriff’s actual public product is the 48 Hour Release. No separate 72-hour endpoint, archive, or control was verified. The published source covers the newest two days and cannot supply the full third day. A valid three-day review must say so plainly and fill that older period through the Sheriff’s records custodian, detention staff, Case.net, MOVANS, and a MODOC transfer check where relevant.
This is not a no-feed county. The two-day display is a useful official-agency lead because it carries exact timestamps and photos. It is simply shorter than the requested window. The Sheriff also warns that the online data is maintained for convenience and is not the official record. Benton County’s practical method is therefore “find online, confirm formally,” with a separate retrieval step for the missing day.
Build a Benton County 72-Hour List
Set the full three-day period before searching. Then divide it into the portion still visible on the Sheriff’s released list and the older portion that needs a durable record. This prevents the 48-hour cards from being mistaken for a complete weekend or three-day return.
- Write down the current Warsaw date and time, then establish cutoffs 48 and 72 hours earlier.
- Open the exact newest-first released filter and capture entries within its actual two-day window.
- Match each person with name, booking number, age, booking date, arresting agency, and charges rather than name alone.
- For the period from 48 to 72 hours old, contact the Detention Facility or request the booking, release, and movement record.
- Check Case.net for the court event, MODOC for a possible state transfer, and MOVANS for a relevant local custody change.
- Reconcile the records before labeling the event community release, transfer, or another custodian change.
The Benton County 24-Hour Releases method is faster when only same-day records matter. It uses the same real source but applies a stricter timestamp cutoff.
Note: Record the booking number while it is visible because the identifier helps detention staff locate an entry after the public card expires.
Benton County Three-Day Record Fields
The visible portion of the three-day review comes from the Sheriff’s 48-hour cards and profiles. Those records have detailed identifiers but no verified release-reason label. The third-day record obtained from the custodian may provide a more durable release or movement entry, subject to the fields maintained and releasable by the office.
| Field | Use in the three-day check |
|---|---|
| Photograph | Compare the booking image while the public entry remains available. |
| Name, booking number, age | Separate similar names and tie later requests to the exact booking. |
| Release Date and time | Place the Benton County custody event within the requested 72-hour period. |
| Booking Date and time | Distinguish separate bookings and compare the event with the case docket. |
| Charges and bond | Help identify the case, but do not state why the person was released. |
| Arresting agency | Appears on the profile and can help route a question to the right record source. |
Bond of $0.00 or any other amount is not a release code. A displayed release time proves only that Benton County ended that booking at the stated time. It does not show whether the person went home, entered MODOC custody, moved to another jail, or remained subject to supervision.
Benton County Weekend Release Checks
A three-day review is useful when a same-day check begins after a weekend, a holiday, or any period when the event of interest is older than the public two-day window. The need for a broader span does not create extra data in the Sheriff’s feed. Benton County has not published fixed release hours, a weekend or holiday release policy, an exit point, or a family waiting procedure. Those local details must be confirmed with detention staff rather than supplied from general jail practice.
The missing third day is best requested as a defined date-and-time range. Give the full name, date of birth if known, booking or case number, and approximate booking date. Ask for the exact release date and time, the recorded release type if maintained, and any receiving-agency or movement entry. That wording helps answer whether the event was a community release or merely the end of Benton custody.
The Sheriff’s official home page provides the local agency framework used for the newest portion of this search.
The agency page is a starting point, not evidence of an unpublished 72-hour roster. Use its released list for two days and its detention or records channel for the third.
Request Benton County’s Third Day
The Sheriff’s Administrative Division accepts document requests Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its official page names Det. Hope Hearn as Custodian of Records and says requests may take up to three days for processing. That statement should not be turned into a promise of complete production within three days. No dedicated local form, fixed copy fee, or booking-photo price was verified, so ask for a cost estimate before production.

Administrative requests: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Sheriff’s contact page warns that email is unencrypted and not suited to sensitive information. Call for sensitive matters. A strong request asks for the booking sheet, release or discharge record, exact time, release type if recorded, movement entry, and receiving agency. Ask the custodian to identify any withheld or redacted item and the applicable legal basis.
Note: Define the missing period precisely so the custodian can search the third day without treating it as an open-ended request.
Corroborate Benton County Release Events
Case.net can show what the Benton County or municipal court ordered after the Sheriff’s short web display disappears. Look for bond changes, recognizance, dismissal, judgment, jail credit, time served, probation, warrant, or revocation entries. A court order establishes legal authority, but not the exact moment physical processing ended. An independent hold or transfer can remain.
MOVANS adds a different kind of evidence. The current Missouri portal separates local jail, MODOC, and court providers. For Benton local-jail records after May 6, 2026, registration uses SMS and/or email, not local phone-call or VINELink-app delivery. A status notice may corroborate a change, yet it is not a certified release sheet and a provider can be offline.
The official MOVANS overview explains the statewide notification role.
The notification route is most useful as a cross-check. Confirm the underlying event with the agency that supplied the data.
Note: Register court and custody events separately when both matter, since one subscription does not replace the other provider’s record.
Benton Release or Custody Transfer
The Detention Facility holds people before trial, people serving local sentences, and people awaiting transport to the Missouri Department of Corrections. Therefore a Benton County Release Date can mark a transfer rather than a return to the community. Search the MODOC Offender Web Search when conviction, sentencing, or transport is plausible. An institutional result points to state custody. A field result may reflect parole, conditional release, or probation.
| Evidence | What it can establish |
|---|---|
| Sheriff release timestamp | The end time recorded for the Benton booking. |
| Custodian movement record | The official local event and receiving agency if maintained. |
| Case.net order | The court action authorizing or affecting release. |
| MODOC institutional result | State custody after the Benton booking ended. |
| MOVANS notice | A contributed custody change that still needs agency confirmation. |
A person absent from both the Current and Released lists may simply be older than the feed window, entered under mismatched search data, transferred, or subject to a confidentiality limit. Roster absence alone is the weakest evidence and should never close the inquiry.
If no active MODOC result appears, remember that the state search intentionally omits finally discharged people. MODOC’s nightly FAK930 historical file includes people who are or have been supervised, but it repeats a person by charge. One completed sentence row cannot prove every sentence or supervision term ended. A formal MODOC Sunshine request can seek release or discharge status, movement, and supervision-end information using the full name, date of birth, MODOC number, and case number.
Federal and immigration checks are separate. The BOP locator can show a federal release date or that someone is not in BOP custody, but another authority or federal supervision may follow. ICE’s locator has its own recent-release scope and exact-match rules. USMS has no comparable public person locator for federal pretrial detainees. Use those systems only when the known custodian or case supports them, never to fill the Benton County third day by guesswork.
